yay

well i went out to ikea yesterday and bought a ton of shit and then stayed up late putting it all together, but at least my apartment feels like home now. getting together with a few people today so that should be nice. they have a program called the "big-sibblings" or something like that where I get to meet a grad student also in my department and he can tell me all about what i'm going to be doing. i'm looking forward to meeting this guy so at least i'll get to learn more about the area and all that shit. tonight though i get to see an old friend. i haven't really talked to him in a few years but at least it will be nice to see a familiar face for the first time all week. tomorrow i get to do all the oreintation stuff and meet more people in my department so that should hopefully be entertaining. the dean of the school is going to talk to us, than we get to have a have a safety talk or something and then we get a barbeque with everyone. i may head out to see john and tony for a bit this weekend which would be nice. i'll get around to talking about the trip keith and i had across the country at some point and i think he is going to put up the pictures online somewhere. some good photos were taken so look for that. hope all is well for everyone and i'll chat with most of you soon hopefully.
